Gaesatae

 Hi everybody!

A small update today, with a figure representing a Celtic Gaesatae, who were said to be mercenaries fighting naked.

This Celt is a conversion, will you guess which figures I used ? I wanted to represent blue warpaints or tattoos, and a weathered shield, hope you like the result.

And last, I've used my mobile phone for the pictures.

See you soon (I hope) !

  4. Wonderful conversion.
Body and shield from Hat's 8058 Carthaginian Allies with head and helmet from the Airfix chariot rider?

      Body and shield: correct.
The head: that's not the right answer, sorry :)

  6. As other players fell, here my own try:
Body is already clear from Hat cath allies (colleaghes also were right),
Head should be from Caesar Celt Warriors, (the wounded fallen man, brought back to action By Phil skills) is It right??

    1. Ah Sceavus, you would have won the ring again Bilbo himself !!
Yes you're right. I was considering the wounded warrior by Caesar, and thought that it was too bad that suh beautiful helmet could bot be seen on any other existing 1/72 figure!
      Congratulations (again and again) :)
