Not much to say this time. A few more men for my Napoleonic Middle Guard unit, together with the musicians painted last year. In this scene, they are walking through a small village, somewhere in Europe.
We can also see a Cuirassier riding in front of them.
Middle Guard by Hät, Musicians and Cuirassier by Strelets.
SupprimerVery nice, mon amie!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, cher ami !
SupprimerGreat work!
RépondreSupprimerThanks!
SupprimerIt was this sort of sight that brought me back into the hobby of my youth many a year before. The only information right or wrongly was upon the box art or within grand old books down the Library.
RépondreSupprimerVery smart and highly detailed painting style! BB
Thank you Paul! It is thanks to people like you that the hobby is so interesting and varied today.
SupprimerTres belle scènette !
RépondreSupprimermerci!
SupprimerWow, great detail on these Phil, very nice indeed.
RépondreSupprimerSuper as usual Phil,
RépondreSupprimerHow do get that off-white tone?
Thanks. I use GW Deneb Stone instead of white, wash with Agrax Earthshade (dark brown) then highlight with Deneb Stone, then Deneb Stone + white.
SupprimerCheers
SupprimerExcellent grenadiers! I prefer the sculpting on the HaT figures over Strelets. How about you?
RépondreSupprimerI mostly do :) but I must admit that Strelets' style is perfect for Cuirassiers.
SupprimerLovely!
RépondreSupprimerThanks!
SupprimerWhatever you do, you do with excellence Phil.
RépondreSupprimerWish it were true :D thank you Bruce.
SupprimerNice brush work Phil. Will they see battle?
RépondreSupprimerI hope so! I have a huge army painted 25 years ago, not the same painting quality, but all of them are ready for action :)
SupprimerThey look great Phil! I quite like those style sets from Hat they have a lot of character.
RépondreSupprimerThank you Tony. I like them too, Hät made a great job on these.
SupprimerVery nice...superb
RépondreSupprimerThank you Michael.
SupprimerPhilip, as usual superb job with any creation you get into!
RépondreSupprimerThank you Sceavus, I try to improve my speed without losing too much quality :)
