Do you remember the troll I painted last year ? He was meant to be part of a troll unit for my orcish warband. And since I painted them just before Christmas, they were in time for the party!
I used the same color scheme as on the first one, only the loinclothes are a bit different.
Some close-ups:
And a few portraits (so that their Ma can be proud of their big big guys :)):
What do you think of them ? Nice ? Ugly ?
Oh yes, the fourth one of the set will have to wait a little, it would have ruined the title of the post.
Nasty looking creatures, for sure, but well painted!
RépondreSupprimerNice work, they looks like Lord of rhe ring trolls!!
RépondreSupprimerI like them, Good painting Job Phil
Raiki
They look like indeed. Thanks!
SupprimerNasty but nice!. Lovely paint job Phil. I must get hold of some of these.
RépondreSupprimerThank you. Yes, they're worth it - more giants than trolls in my opinion, but interesting nevertheless.
SupprimerSuch a pretty, merry creatures. :D
RépondreSupprimerI would not like to meet their parents :D
SupprimerRafraîchissant....et très joliment fait!
RépondreSupprimerNote que le troll rafraichissant est un concept sous copyright :D
SupprimerExtremely nice Christmas Trolls!
RépondreSupprimerAnd nice comment too, thanks :)
SupprimerBeautiful work!
RépondreSupprimerThanks!
SupprimerWill they make a snowman? Did you get the other set ..the trolls Holding Stones or pushing a seige tower?
RépondreSupprimerAt first I painted to create a GIF with Christmas lights in the firs, and red hoods on the orcs... a snowman would have been great :)
SupprimerYes I bought the other sets, though I don't think I will paint them all. I will carefully follow your advices when adding catapults on the back of some of them :)
Don't go in the wood when snowing...
RépondreSupprimerGreat painting!
Bravo
:-)
Merci Empereur ! Ces trolls ne pourraient-ils pas servir d'esclaves pour tirer ton char flamboyant ? ;)
SupprimerNice job here too phil, I agree with you about the size.. maybe too big but useful anyway!
RépondreSupprimerThank you Sceavus! I decided to incorporate these guys in a 28mm Orc warband.
SupprimerYour work is stunning!!! Fantastic pictures.
RépondreSupprimerThank you Jacob!
